Bold Leaders for a
Just World
OMNIA is a global leadership training and consulting program serving religious and civic leaders who are committed to solving society's most intractable problems, such as racism, extremism, and economic justice.
Omnia’s Impact
We train people of diverse faiths, backgrounds, and points of view to engage productively, honestly, and creatively to solve problems together.
OMNIA’s training helps communities stabilize and offer economic opportunities for youth. This former Boko Haram Terrorist now runs a thriving barber shop. (OMNIA’s Rev. Abare Kallah is in the chair.) Click the photo to learn more.
OMNIA President Rev. Dr. Shanta Premawardhana (left) confers with tribal leader in Gombe State, Nigeria. Wherever OMNIA goes, we build important alliances between religious, community, tribal, and political leaders. Today more than 75 communities in Nigeria, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka, and the U.S. have worked with OMNIA leaders to organize for peace.
In Northeastern Nigeria, where Boko Haram is active, OMNIA's training helps clergy and lay religious leaders to work together to stop the growth of extremism and create economic opportunity. Our IPTeams are made up of Muslims and Christians working together in effective and powerful actions towards peace. Click on photo to learn more about our work in Nigeria

Interfaith Dialogue matters, but effective action matters even more. In Sri Lanka, Bishop Kumara Illangasinghe (center) heads OMNIA’s Sri Lanka program, bringing together Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, and Muslim Leaders to form IPTs in communities wracked by violence. To date there are 14 IPTs operating in Sri Lanka. Click the photo to learn more about OMNIA’s work in Sri Lanka.
Whether it’s a warrior for peace, a prophetic theologian, a seasoned scholar, or an up and coming activist, OMNIA connects with the great minds of our time to inform, educate, and challenge others to be the leaders they’ve been waiting for. When Ruth, a Christian, and Zuwaira, a Muslim, met at OMNIA’s IPT Training event, they decided to organize an interfaith women’s movement for peace. Today more than 2,000 women have mobilized to stop violence and teach their sons and daughters how to build power together. Click the photo to read their story.
