It was more than 50 years ago on a sweltering summer Chicago night in 1966 that young activist Mary Nelson first met and marched with Dr. King and gospel great Mahalia Jackson. She's been marching ever since. Her distinguished career includes serving on OMNIA'S faculty and as a member of the OMNIA Advisory Board.
On this national day of remembrance and action may we find our own ways of joining Mary and so many others in that unbroken quest for justice!
