This one-of-a-kind Immersion Experience focuses on models of Interfaith cooperation and pluralism, and includes visiting historic Buddhist Temples and other religious sites. We will explore how Buddhism and Hinduism co-exist, meet with Buddhist and Christian leaders to explore and how minority religions such as Christians and Muslims navigate this unique religious mix. Visits to historic Buddhist temples including Dambulla, and the “Temple of the Tooth Relic”
Learn the history and culture of Buddhism in Sri Lanka
Learn Buddhism and Buddhist spirituality
Explore how Christians live with the majority Buddhist community
Visit Kataragama Shrine where Hindus and Buddhists worship together
Visit key Christian sites: historic Galle Fort, Theological College of Lanka
Visit places of other interest as a tea factory and a botanical garden
Relax at the beautiful beach at Hikkaduwa
